The September sun was shining as supporters of the Ffestiniog Railway came together to celebrate the official unveiling of two plaques at the recently restored ‘Gweithdy’ building in Minffordd.

Tywyn based Talyllyn Railway has announced that it has placed an order with the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways.

We have taken the opportunity to record the Reminiscences of two Ffestiniog Railway pioneers without whom the railway would not exist as it does today.

We are delighted to announce that we will be working with Porthmadog local brewery ‘Purple Moose’, who have produced for us a ‘new own-labelled railway themed beer’ exclusively for sale at the railway.

In line with the latest update to guidelines, we’re very pleased to confirm that Spooner’s Bar will be ‘open for business’ again from Monday 17th May.

Having only recently announced that we are resuming services in May, we now have some even better news to share…
